We are inviting you to learn the language "Esperanto"   (Free) You may begin by looking the word "Esperanto" in your encyclopedia, or you may search the web. You may go to "Google.com" and enter the word "Esperanto". You will be surprised to find more than a million hits... Esperanto is the only "planned language" that works, that can be used for regular conversation and for all kinds of writings. Esperanto is "easy" to learn... In this case, "easy" means that you will be able to understand the language after learning it for about 50 hours, and you will need another 50 hours to get some fluency... compared with Spanish, French, Italian, German, than could take about 2000 hours. But you will have to study hard... and practice. Esperanto had been used during more than 100 years all over the world. Now we would like to create a group for learning and using Esperanto right here in Fremont. There is already an Esperanto course at Stanford University. You may start with a visit to this class. They meet Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Bechtel International Center on the Stanford University campus during the academic year (minus the usual holidays).
